Management InformatIon Systems

Management Information Systems (MIS) is an interdisciplinary field that combines information technology, data analysis, and business management to support effective decision-making in organizations.

What is Management Information Systems (MIS)?

Clarity for Prospective Students

Many candidates see course names but can’t understand the real skills behind them. This project turns course titles into practical outcomes.

Reducing Information Asymmetry

We address the “information gap” between universities and candidates by translating curriculum into real-world meaning.

Careers Mapping

We visualize how learning SQL/Python/ERP/BI connects to job roles like Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Systems Analyst.

What This Department Covers?

Objective & Motivation

This internship project aims to design an informational web platform that clearly introduces the Management Information Systems (MIS) field. The main motivation is to help prospective students understand the interdisciplinary nature of MIS, which bridges business processes and information technologies.

Analysis & Solution

The analysis revealed an information gap between academic course descriptions and students’ understanding of practical skills and career paths. To address this, the project presents MIS through structured sections that connect courses, technologies, and career opportunities in a logical flow.

Scope & Outcomes

The project covers content planning, UI/UX design, and frontend development of an MIS-focused website. As a result, a responsive and functional prototype was produced, demonstrating how MIS can be communicated effectively through a digital platform.
